Rene finished his PhD at PUC in 2014 on the subject of structural vibration control using MR-dampers. Rene is currently working at SIRVE Engineering, has one ISI paper published and another ISI paper accepted for publication. He is currently in the process of patenting a technology for structural vibration control produced during his PhD studies along with Juan Carlos de la Llera. Also, he obtained his MSc degree at PUC on 2008 with a thesis titled “Tall building vibration control using a TM-MR damper assembly”.
