This course aims to teach analytical tools for the study and understanding of the behavior of discrete and dynamical continuous systems. Structural dynamics are studied as a particular case of a more complete and general formulation, whose generality extends to the study of dynamic hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical systems, among others. Emphasis is placed on the study of the response of linear systems. However, problems with nonlinearity material and geometrics will be considered as some linearization techniques. All the computer simulation of dynamic systems will be done in MATLAB and the development of dynamic experimental applications in the Labview software.
